Is Blind becoming a marketing platform?

Some weeks ago a Mr. Nobody did an AMA about the "life experiences that inspired his startup" or some πŸ’© along these lines (how he was a born entrepreneur and all these cringy cliches), with the thread containing an obvious amount of canned questions, making it more of an add for recruiting/hyping the startup than a genuine post. The ugly part here is that every single person calling him out in the comments for doing covered marketing and pointing out his BS was immediately flagged from the conversation (around 30 posts easily). I don't imagine many people but OP getting upset from those, so it seems Blind prefers to ban the actual userbase in favor to those paying for some commercial minutes. While I get that Blind may be looking for sources to monetize the platform, this feels to me as becoming more frequent lately. If this place just becomes a marketing shopping window, it will be feast now and fast tomorrow, because the actual user base will end up leaving to places where true conversations take place, and the revenue for fake posts/adds will then be 0 dollars for Blind.
