Is DD ads revenue really $3billion per year?

Looking to move from Amazon Ads to DD/Instacart/Uber. Saw that DD did $3B in "Ads and Promotion" revenues. This is huge. But is this really Ads revenue or something else? #doordash #instacart

Seems suspicious. If they make $3B in ads then why is their profit not higher? How big is the ads team (eng/product)?

It's not $3B revenue. It's $3b worth of goods purchased via ads. Revenue would be a small fraction of that

It means $3 billion in sales was generated by DD for merchants through their ads and promotions.
