Ok. Etay is not a significant company. But it was the most promising Amazon competitor. As soon as Temu and Shein entered the US market, weird things started to happen at Etsy. Best leaders and top engineers were suddenly fired for fictitious reasons Promising projects mysteriously got canceled Profitable marketing methods were replaced with unproductive ways Trust & safety and ML teams laid off, resulting in the site being flooded with counterfeit and search results becoming irrelevant in a short amount of time All of these can not normally happen altogether in one year. The company is being sabotaged and destroyed by its top executives. It's hard to believe this is just incompetence. They are actively trying to destroy the company. It feels like someone is paying them or forcing them to drive the company to the ground. Who might be behind this? Who would benefit from destroying American companies and allowing Temu and Shein to take the market share?
CCP sleeper agents?

Does not the CEO own a bunch of stock?
Yes the entire layer right below the ceo have been replaced with sycophants. Have you ever heard of chief people officer getting laid off? That happened in December. Your note is correct, lot of talent has been systematically targeted and removed. Especially in search, ml platform and trust safety.

Peaceful Protest Hasn’t Worked and Has Been Met With Aggression.
Any leadership changes lately, or is it exactly the same team? Do not look at the CEO. Look +2 levels down.
