Got an offer from Fidelity to get their credit card. Interested in hearing opinions if it is worth to obtain one. I don't see a lot of advantage of getting it even compared to a credit card you can get from a credit union. It has a nice advantage of 2% cash back but so are many others. For reference: https://www.investopedia.com/fidelity-rewards-visa-signature-review-4799631
I have it, it is great. No annual fee. So it is 100% worth it, cause there is no cost to you (as long as you pay it off like a debit card like me).
there is an opportunity cost of getting a better card
citi double cash gives you 2% as well, + you don’t have to redeem to fidelity, + $100-200 sign up bonus
2% is low.
good if you don’t want to optimize manually for different categories
I personally use sofi, they offer 3% unlimited for first year and 2% afterwards. They have $200 signon bonus as well. I use their checking savings too. So it's a great combo. If you need a referral, I'm happy to dm u
