Is Google next Amazon for a toxic workplace?
It scares me to see how many people are moving from Amazon/AWS to Google.. the only hope for non-toxic workplace was Google but if it hires more Amazonians.. Google will become next toxic Amazon. Any thoughts? Any tactics Google uses to make sure it doesn’t poison the company/org. Question for Google’rs how does the company deal with toxic people, especially managers?
Weve heard multiple times that the URA quota comes from the top at Amazon, it undoubly poisons the workers, yes, but that factor will not be present at Google
What about amazon managers joining google cloud? That has to play a role
Im not disagreeing with that. Some amazon managers (like the one I had) are scum, but there might be many that are sympathetic and only had their hands tied, and you see them a lot on blind, which gives me hope

Many people do not accept and move because of toxic culture. So they don’t bring it with them. But some do. The general question we can ask Google employees: how does the company deal with toxic people, especially managers?

I heard GCPers are treated differently than Googlers, for example they don't qualify for free food, and cannot badge into other buildings, etc.
A lot join Google to leave toxic culture although I’m sure some were toxic to begin with
Google specially gcp is by name only. More than 90 percent people of it are recent hires from other companies. And many of them are from Amazon.
