I noticed that you now have to ask a cafe worker for the to-go boxes. Up till now they were placed right beside the plates at the start of the food line. Why this change in policy? Yes, you will eventually get a box but it takes longer and slows the line as sometime a worker is not standing there to pass a box. This really hinders things especially at a busy time like lunch. Why is there this change in policy?
Ruth, the CFO
Google will have to Ruthlessly improve the cafeteria situation then.
I have seen enough white people do it. But don’t let facts stand in the way of your racism.
Should start charging minimum base.
Mostly food waste/abuse. It depends on the cafe. Cafes with lots of traffic might ration them out at dinner time so you're not feeding an entire household.
Just cancel dinner. They've already reduced the number of dinner cafe. Might as well as make it simple.
Bad idea. They're opening more all day salad bars/sandwich stations in SVL, plus early dinner.. which seems to help.
My neighbor (American) works at FB and I have seen her with fb lunch boxes at home
Title is Google, not Fb
I know. Same issue same people
I think it's a good move. Some people packed boxes for the family. My manager who was L7 and an Indian used to absolutely plunder the chicken/fish counter for the kids dinner.
Exactly even if this fucker makes thrice my TC he takes thrice the chicken. Now we can't get even one box.
Wtffffff
😂 I read somewhere that Starbucks in China had to remove the counter with sugar, milk, and half & half, because people would walk in, grab a table, and pour themselves a glass of half & half without buying anything at all. It’s just a cultural thing and nothing to do with racism.
Search "Chinese at Buffet" on YouTube
Amazon, you gave me a heavy laugh early morning. Thanks for that milk story from China
How do we fix this problem to avoid the elimination of perks? (You would think it should be common sense for people to act responsibly, but clearly another way is needed to fix this)
The fix is elimination of perks or have someone in the cafe say you can't have more. The former is less aggressive than the latter.
Both are aggressive. There has to be a lighter, more persuasive way to do it.
Spoiler: panhandling homeless don't want food. They want money for drugs.
Yeah like it's the companies responsibility to feed the homeless.
Such a classic, who would’ve thought free stuff leads to rationing? lmfao
Why communism doesn’t work.
Too much waste?
