Is Israel an apartheid state?

Here are some of the practices and policies of Israel against Palestinians: Segregation: There is a system of segregation in place in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Palestinians and Israelis are subject to different legal systems and treatment based on their ethnicity or nationality. Palestinians living in the West Bank are subject to Israeli military law, while Israeli settlers are subject to Israeli civil law. This creates a legal distinction between the two groups. Restricted Movement: Israel's extensive network of checkpoints, roadblocks, and the separation barrier (often referred to as the "apartheid wall") restricts the movement of Palestinians, making it difficult for them to access schools, hospitals, and job opportunities. Palestinians require permits to enter Israel or travel between different parts of the West Bank, and these permits can be challenging to obtain. Land Confiscation: Israel's policy of building settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, often on land confiscated from Palestinians, results in the displacement of Palestinian communities. This practice has been criticized for altering the demographic and geographic makeup of the occupied territories Resource Allocation: there is an unequal distribution of resources such as water and arable land in the West Bank, with Israelis having preferential access. Palestinians in some areas face water shortages and restrictions on agricultural development. Citizenship and Residency: In East Jerusalem, Palestinians who are not citizens of Israel but have residency status face difficulties in obtaining citizenship and can risk losing their residency if they cannot prove their "center of life" remains in the city. Critics argue that this can lead to the forced displacement of Palestinians Gaza Blockade: The blockade of the Gaza Strip, maintained by Israel and Egypt, has been criticized for restricting the movement of people and goods in and out of Gaza, contributing to severe humanitarian challenges.

It depends on who is answering your question.

I am asking for an unbiased response. Some facts are provided above about how Israel treat Palestinians

AMD HPJr04 Nov 12, 2023

Moron OP, Gaza and West Bank are NOT Israel. They are ruled by Hamas and PA, they elected governments. Israel though, has 25% non Jewish citizens with full rights serving in government, army, medical fields and having parliamentary representation. You know nothing of Israel, educate yourself. BTW, Gaza and the West Bank have zero Jewish population and therefore falling under the definition of apartheid and Nazi states

Meta userrnam3 Nov 12, 2023

"West Bank are NOT Israel." "You know nothing of Israel, educate yourself." Given that Israel controls/runs most of the west bank, this is awfully ironic.

This is amazing. We get Israel’s intel and military tech. Israel made Stuxnet, which if you’re any serious engineer can appreciate as one of the most technically complex and beautiful pieces of software ever written. Stuxnet alone, in the calculus of US warfare, made every cent the US ever sent to Israel worth it — not to mention having an allied state actor in the middle east controlled by theocratic dictators like Assad. FYI the 3 billion the US usually sends Israel makes up less than 1% of Israel’s half a trillion dollar GDP.

Israelites were forced out of their homeland thousands of years ago and now finally got their ancestral land back. 🇵🇸 are ancestors of invaders and claim it’s their home now

You cant go back home as a Palestinian Palestinians have different license plates. Jewish folks can/should only marry other Jewish folks. Have to fight multiple court battles to KEEP the house you lived in your entire life And somehow this is not similar to Nazi Germany
