Is Nike rescinding offers?

I was part of the new grad SWE hiring process this May. My start date is next month, but I haven't heard back from my recruiter, HR, or Nike's new hire team -- I've even tried emailing and calling a few times but no one's gotten back to me or some of the others in the Nike New Hire group chat. According to the people who started last in May - July (and the last email I got from my recruiter), Nike should've already given us our team assignments and onboarding paperwork by now. I know a lot of companies are doing hiring freezes and even rescinding offers. For anyone working at Nike right now, is Nike doing the same? Expected TC: $85k + $5k signing #nike #newgrad #swe #tech

Why dont you reach out to your new manager? Rescinding offer is very common these days since we are in a recession

Since I don't have a team assignment yet, I don't have contact info for a manager. The only contact info I have are for my recruiter, general HR, and the Nike New Hire team's email

Ohh okay. They are very slow. Just Give them time.

You still have a month, nothing to worry about. Most new hire stuff doesn’t start until 2-3 weeks before starting.

Um for that TC I’d say they’re doing you a favor

As I said in the original post, I (and others) have been emailing and calling once a week to follow-up about placement status and updates, but haven't heard back. I posted here to see if anyone has experienced something similar from Nike or if anyone currently working there might know more about a potential hiring freeze there.

If your offer includes relo, you will want to know what is happening asap

The relocation company is the only one who's been keeping in touch, but they said that they're contracted to handle relocation for us and that they don't know anything about the hiring process or any freezes/re-orgs happening with Nike

But they would know if the contract is cancelled. They want to get paid and will only do so with people who HR has given the green light. I’d take that as a good sign?
