Looks like Prestigious University graduates getting offers from Palo Alto Networks like candy. Their offer package is pretty low right ? Why would Wharton/HAAS grads wanna work at Palo Alto Networks ? These grads don't have visa issues either so help me understand ? Are things really that tough out there ?
Iโm not sure why you are being so condescending about Palo Alto Networks (PAN). Consider a few things from a PM perspective: 1) Cybersecurity as an industry is experiencing explosive growth. 2) PAN is an undisputed leader in this space. Theyโve been making impressive strides pivoting their business for cloud use cases and have been on an aggressive acquisition spree. 3) They pay pretty well No idea what their product culture is like but I wouldnโt be so dismissive of them.
You make a great PM. To become a good PM, one needs to understand the competitive landscape and the potential of the company. OP clearly does not have what you have.
PM interviews are indeed getting very tough. Companies seem to be looking for a CEO in every PM hire ๐
