Just curious. Obviously it depends on the person, but for you, do you consider it a nice place to live? I'm in NYC myself and have never visited.
I lived there for 4 years in North Beach. Rent controlled, no parking. It's a beautiful place and living in that area made it a 3 hour commute when I got transferred back to HQ in mountain view. Unfortunately I had to leave but it was amazing. I loved the time I spent there.
It really depends, but SF is so behind NYC in everything, it is like comparing 18th century to 21st.
Come to Seattle/Redmond/Bellevue. It's a beauty.
Seattle is so much nicer than the Bay Area.
Lies, Seattle weather is shit
Hahah
If you plan on comparing it to NYC, you’re in for a nasty surprise. Especially if you’re a single male or if you’re in your 20s
San Francisco is garbage but I hate it less than everywhere else. The city is awesome and garbage. The good outweighs the bad but at a certain tipping the bad is just too high.
Been here almost 2years it has its cons but overall it’s great.
Plan to spend more money than nyc to stay in a better place. Some patches in sf city proper and most of the burbs are great.
Pac Heights is great
Horrible place. You should not even ask this question. Worse place to live if you have a family
