Is Skype for business a total piece of shit?
My previous 2 companies used Slack. Now I use a monstrosity called “Skype for business” and it’s a totally unusable mess. The UI is terrible and it doesn’t keep history of conversations properly. If you close the chat window with a person the history is lost forever. Slacks keeps the history. Slack guys can you please kill Skype for business and wipe it out from the face of the earth. Please!
Teams suck
Skype for Business (and now Teams) is not made for you. It's made for your IT Admin. So yes, it's terrible.

No. It’s not. Even with 32GB RAM and 16 cores it still sucks. Disclaimer: My views do not necessarily reflect those of my employer. Not only does it crash for no reason, but it loses messages and the screen sharing never works, or when it does, the audio stops working.
If we’re being honest, both slack and Skype suck. Slack will somehow utilize every resource your computer has, and Skype is just ass to begin with.
Agreed. I was never like 100% happy with slack. But Skype4B is just too painful and dumb.
I always lose signal when driving around with Skype business and then it has to reconnect... never had this issue dialing into WebEx

Oh so it’s like Edge and Internet Explorer shit???? Two browsers, 2 control panels, 2 chat applications.
Team is more collaborative i wud say. Will Probably replace skype in a year.
