Is Tesla dying?

In a race to bottom with Chinese EVs Has to resort to marketing gimmicks like est gas savings to make price digestible Shrinking sales Can't alleviate range anxiety. Getting punched by Prius High insurance costs Low confidence in robotaxi vision. Past performance on FSD and timeline for cyber truck not helping

Teslas were cool when they came out but now they seem equivalent to Honda Civic in the early 2000s Except Honda was higher quality?

When has China ever invited a manufacturer into their county, then stole all their trade secrets and take over the market with knockoffs. But Elon is a genius, there’s no way he could’ve seen this coming. It’s not like the exact same thing happened to Vestas after they started producing wind turbines in China.

Tesla next runup might depends on their success with their ai robots to replace household chores. Just with EV cars their growth is going to be slow death. Chinese and other automakers are catching up with EV tech. .

Other than the Wankpanzer truck, they haven't had a truly new model in years. Car design in the industry has moved on. Growth for luxury EVs has slowed considerably and they've had to implement severe price cuts to unload inventory. Meanwhile, growth is happening in the budget realm, where BYD and others are doing well and Tesla seems to not have anything in the pipeline. And Elon's personality is not helping the brand much. There's still the possibility of a comeback but I'm not holding my breath.

I think major issues are high insurance cost and high repair and maintenance costs..they need to rethink how the car should be manufactured to lower repairs and maintenance costs.

At times it seems almost half of all the cars around are Teslas. Even I am considering getting it some day. How is it dying?

Maybe where you live. Take a broader view
