Stocks down badly 36% for the year while everyoneelse booming, 10% or more of the workers recently cut. Is Tesla in trouble?

Tesla is still far superior to other EVs.
That’s true but the pe for the company is pretty high. Their stock was already priced at sales targets years ago.
This is irrelevant, the market for EVs is only going to increase from here.
They need AI boost
Western countries can’t compete with China on EVs, so they decided to deprioritize it. It is not wrong since Chinese government subsidizes the EV industry. Tesla is unlucky. But it will survive.
This has nothing to do with car sales. Their sales target price stock was priced in years ago and is much lower than current target. They were ridiculously overpriced but had the promise of being a growth company with more products like self driving cars or taxis or home robots with advanced AGI or AI. Maybe a future Tesla car for 25k. But all that promise is going down the drain because of Elon’s bullshit with Twitter and his general approach to products these days. The cybertruck is a good novelty stunt but isn’t gonna make massive growth for the company.

I am bullish on FSD. Check out reviews on FSD 12, they are mostly positive. Kinda makes me bullish on the robotaxi/FSD.
I’m skeptical of their leadership and their ability to deliver on any promises in the longterm
