Do you really feel special in your Tesla?
There’s ironically a lot of misinformation from currently verified people who think Twitter is selling verification bags to anyone who wants them with no evidence to suggest that they’re going to start verifying random nobodies. Unless I’m wrong, they’re simply charging people who are verified and otherwise would be verified to have the badge and are NOT opening verification up to the general public. #Twitter #Elon #Musk
That's a smart move, since Twitter is mainly used as mass broadcast by famous people/influencers. Make them pay up.
The blue checkmarks are going to fume even more. That's enough of a reason to love that move.
Yah—charging $20 sub to get it. https://www.theverge.com/2022/10/30/23431931/twitter-paid-verification-elon-musk-blue-monthly-subscription?utm_campaign=theverge&utm_content=chorus&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter
Charging verifications who're already having it at 20$/month. Imo the process of getting verified isn't changing
