Is future equally uncertain? Don't have an offer , just wondering if I should invest time interviewing with them TC some roasted peanuts.
I’m super bullish on Uber going forward. Globally they have a huge foot print and they have a number of business units and diversified investments. Biggest risk I see for them is attrition issues, but that wouldn’t stop me from joining. They pay real well and apart from decent refreshers the engineers I know there are getting perf bonuses and other incentives so that tells me they recognize where the money comes from and are willing to pay to make sure attrition doesn’t really start to hit their business. At any rate their offers are super competitive these days so even if you end up going somewhere else, having one in hand will definitely help negotiations for wherever you do end up.
2 of the 3 main businesses will be profitable in 2022. just a matter of time imo for company to do well
Yes given they significantly more than msft and even if you get laid off, with msft and uber on your resume you will get tons of interviews
