Hey folks,I am in mid 20s and I rank TC as the top priority.I want money and I want to buy a house in bayarea so I don't care about WLB as long as it's tolerable I mean as long as I could go home before 9pm.I usually heard so many folks on blind are complaining about WLB in FB and Amazon, for me they are both good company than Google. Because FB&Amazon would give candidate a decent offer without negotiation. Google has good WLB but always lowballed candidate or you must get compete offer to do a extremely disgusting negotiation.Am I the only one who think about career like this?#Google #Facebook #Amazon
I recently had offers from both Google and Facebook for the same level. Had to negotiate really hard with Google. Things got so messy towards the end that i stopped picking up calls from my Google HR. Google eventually paid slightly more than FB but i ended up chosing FB just because of so much shit that i had to go through with Google.
is google hard to negotiate even with a competitive offer?
reflects more on your negotiation skills than anything. letting it get hostile over an offer negotiation lol
Hah before 9 pm. Then you do care about WLB
Wlb should be a slightly less priority for peeps in 20s but the hate against Amazon is not just because of wlb its because of fucked up refreshers/bonus. At least fb compensates you generously for the hours you work.
No. You are not UNIQUE!
