How have they not fixed the application mess already? The sign up for every application step… the 50 other tabs that come after that. Wth
That is there on purpose to reduce the number of applicants 😬
Yes it's a feature not a bug
Why is it that for applications I need to create a new login per site. Why not a workday account and I can “login with workday”
Yep that's the worst loll. I just skip applying to companies that use it now. Not a good look for them anyways.
I never apply to a company that uses workday for job application. Not worth my time making an account and filling out resume by hand.
I recently gave up on applying to Nvidia through workday !
Well.. JIRA is the undisputed winner of that award
Counterpoint: Taleo exists. Anything that can't handle multiple open tabs without its state/session management falling to pieces goes below Workday. The last time I used Taleo was many years ago though, so maybe they've gotten better.
It's also up to the company how they set up their application process, how many pages/steps and whether it requires an account setup to apply
I think my issue is workday. Workday could potentially be better than LinkedIn for job searches One login for all applications. One login page where I can track my application status Show me jobs similar to the ones I applied for.
That would mean workday (we are a software company) would own candidate data - which our clients (eg - bank of America) would never agree to share with other clients who they are competing for talent against.
I've only had good experiences with Workday 🤷♂️
