Jassy is lifeless. Bezos was arguably a douchebag but at least when he spoke you could get inspired in some way. Even if it was a false sense. When Jassy speaks it does the exact opposite of inspire me, in fact it always leaves me feeling worse than if he never spoke at all.

jassy is very much like ballmer: missing the founder's vision and also missing depth as he didn't grow WITH the company but was always looking from the top. jeff was extra sadistic and brutal, jassy at least doesn't push as hard for exploitation as jeff used to, but also jassy has no idea how to run anything other than aws, and everything is just as bad as before but now additionally also growing ever more bureaucratic and static. in that very specific sense, jassy is worse - jeff was more evil but at least people were motivated, for terrible reasons but still.
