I got an offer from Apple (new grad) for is&t and I’m thinking about whether it is good or not. I have a competing offer at Expedia Group: Apple: Seattle Base: 113k Signing Bonus: 15k Stock: 76k Relocation: not specified Expedia Group: Seattle Base: 118.8k Signing bonus: 20k - 10k first year then 10 second. Stock: 40k Relocation: 10k The Apple email had a non negotiable final offer header on the email. Not sure what to do or how to negotiate. Any advice highly appreciated
Is that stock grant for 1 year or for 4 years?
Avoid is&t
Why? I also got an opportunity for IS&T.
Yes I’ve heard that a lot and I wonder if it is true for all teams within the org. Honestly it’s kinda scary
The math is roughly the same (~130k cash and stock) the gamble is whether you get a bonus after being there a year and when their cycle for bonus’ happens, so let’s say you get 10%, you’ll get another 10k there, which means Apple is probably the better choice Also, Typically with a sign on bonus, you’re required to stay the full year otherwise you have to pay it back — so my question to you is: With Expedia, are you required to stay a full year with each sign on bonus released or just the first year?
I missed the relo part, but worth asking if Apple can front relo costs — hopefully they don’t say sign on would cover relo
Yes it is the case I have to stay for a year after I get it each year. Apple didn’t specify how much but they did say the relocation is fully covered (not sure what that means). I contacted them to ask more regarding stock vesting times and total sum for relo. Thanks for you answer it is super helpful!
Not a lowball for L3/ICT2, you may be worth more but everyone pays new grads lower
Just take Apple offer.
Just take apple the brand name matters

Lol its Apple no brainer not sure why are you debating.
