Anyone else feel like the meals served in business class are just the same as what is served in economy but on a plate? Like they just scooped it out of the same box and put it all on a tray with utensils wrapped in a folded napkin. TC: 320
Even first class food is just microwaved shit
You can sort of see a bigger difference between first class and business.
Maybe in domestic “business” which is really just an international premium economy seat. The food in real business / first is materially better, but the food isn’t why you fly business - landing rested after a 16h flight is.
I was thinking international, but definitely agree on the lie flat being the real reason we pay that much money for those seats 😂. I just thought it was a little funny how I didn't really see much of a difference between my recent economy and business class meal.
Also depends on airlines. I believe Singapore airlines, British airways, Emirates are better at business class. Some of them let you choose any food out of a long list of menu before boarding. US and Europe airlines really suck. United and American are worst . The German airlines and other airlines aren't far behind. No idea about Chinese and Japanese. And no idea about Indian business class but air hostess says it used to be really bad in Indian airlines business class. Turkish airlines, I have always been curious
Eva airlines and SAS business class are awesome. Food was decent.
East Asian airlines (ANA, Korean Air, JAL) are the best of the best, along with Emirates.
Airplane food sucks period
You also get food whenever you want it - but that’s about it. Not a huge difference - food in economy is better imo - especially if you have dietary restrictions
International Business and First class food is better, absolutely. It is normally not amazing food or anything but it is better for sure. Even on shitty airlines like United, international business class flights have decent food. On good airlines it can be straight up good. I did F on ANA from Japan to the US and had an amazing wagyu steak, for example.
