Is it common to be ghosted by recruiters?
I had an interview with Zillow and it didn’t go as well as I wanted but I was able to at least type a working solution with desired time complexity. However I haven’t heard back from the recruiter and even though I have sent an email requesting feedback or timelines around it I haven’t received a response I do have one other offer from a financial services company but I wanted to interview at Zillow first if it is a go. Should I just assume that they have passed on me and accept an offer from another company even though I am not very excited to join? YOE: 6 TC: 250k #swe #interview #zillow #faang #techcareer
Unfortunately it is common. You could send a mail asking for an update but if they don't get back within the next few days just move on.

Very common , especially with Zillow recruiters . I was told they’d be scheduling me for HM interview Becos he wanted to meet with me. It’s been 4 months lol no responses to my follow up emails as well lol
