I mean if i was responsible for motion design and when i was leaving the company, helped to recruit and train motion designer for my replacement. But my job title stated as sr. Graphic designer. If so should i also change it on LinkedIn
yes
Yep. My first real job title was “Presentation Designer” and I put “Designer” on my résumé because I didn’t want to be typecast.

The end of Backdoor Roth?!
Little changes like that are usually just fine. You have to imagine your new employer getting their background check back and it saying your hired title. It’s not usually a big deal. What you can do is list the title you want on resume & LI and then put the old hired title into the background check software when you’re asked to. I’ve never seen a small change like that cause a problem. Big change between “operations associate” and “senior SWE” or “product designer ” and “Head of Ux” or something
👍 thanks!
