Is it okay to use work laptop for personal learning
Hi, is it okay to use office laptop for personal use like learning new tech, pushing POC code to GitHub based on New learning? Location: India Company: Oracle #oracle #tech

Is it okay? Probably. But unless you really cannot afford your own computer it’s so much better to just buy your own computer.
The problem is that personal laptop has gone out of order and will buy a new one in couple of months 🙂
Yes if you are learning stuff for work. If the stuff you learn is for something outside your work (which doesn't have a potential use in your current position), then no.

Intention is to just learn a new tech, have related sample code and keeping it in the personal github account, so that same can be accessed from outside company laptop, after leaving the company, etc. I understand that if I make something which becomes commercial, then Oracle can claim.
