My understanding is that vaccine is just a weak version of coronavirus. Hence the one who got vaccinated, has COVID-19. So when they cough or touch surfaces, etc. there is a possibility of getting infected with COVID-19 if one is around them.
Wtf is this question. The vaccine isnβt active virus. Itβs probably safer to be around.

Covid vaccine isn't a weakened virus kind. It's an mRNA vaccine . You can french kiss them and not get covid.
No. I have seen lots of videos on tiktok where tiktok shows they feel like dancing on some songs after vaccine. Sometimes they can throw both the feet in the air while dancing. Stay few feet away, I will not want to get crushed under their ass. π
The mRNA vaccines don't produce the actual virus, just proteins that match a specific part of the virus so your immune system can recognize the real thing. You're not going to catch COVID from them unless they've been exposed to someone with actual COVID.
On their side, it might take a couple weeks for their immune system to be fully primed for attacking the real virus and preventing them from getting too sick if they get exposed to COVID in the future. Note that them being vaccinated doesn't protect you, just them. If they meet up with a bunch of people, including someone with COVID, and they pick that up soon before meeting you, they can still potentially transmit it to you. If they've been fairly careful and you're the first person they're going to be in close contact with, then it's probably lower risk.
The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines use instructions called mRNA that cause your cells to produce tiny parts of the virus (the spike proteins) but not the whole virus for your immune system to train itself on. The J&J vaccine does the same thing, but using a modified weak virus to make your body make the COVID proteins, but not the whole virus itself. In no situation would a vaccinated individual be creating intact COVID-19 virus in themselves without them being infected with it beforehand.
Thanks all. Appreciate the helpful responses. So it's safe to be around vaccinated people.
Vaccines only protect the vaccinated. They can still get infected with mild or no symptom and still spread the virus to you.
That's not true. All US approved vaccines reduce transmission. Please don't spread misinformation.
Vaccines protect the vaccinated. They also potentially prevent them from spreading. If you are that paranoid wait till you get vaccinated
The vaccine is not a light version of the actual virus. Hilarious question coming from an engineer @ google π
No
Is it safe or my understanding is wrong?
Your question is wrong
