Is it worth applying to multiple SWE positions inside a company?
2023 SWE New Grad (International) here. (Past internships: Blackrock, Google.) Is it worth applying to multiple SWE positions inside the same company in a matter of 2-4 months? (E.g. Paypal, Salesforce, MongoDB, Flexport to name a few, have new positions listed on Linkedin / their Careers pages / ...) (Situation: Extremely scared about finding a job in the current climate. Doing my best to receive any offer, but even with good OAs / top 15 CS school MEng / 3.5-3.8 GPA, getting rejected.)

No that’s a red flag
It’s fine as long as you’re not excessive(over 3-4). Have applied for different positions in several companies with normal roles getting rejected and senior levels getting an interview in same company.
2-3 roles at once is fine and pretty typical based on what we see at Flexport
If the company lets you, why not.
