I saw that they’re hiring in NYC, but I’m afraid of being someone who’ll be laid off 😅. Do you think there is a future for WeWork?
The severance package is pretty good lol
Would be funny if someone gets laid off on their first day of work
You have an interesting sense of humor
Seems very risky
Most if not the entire tech division is going to go get laid off in Feb. Source: my buddy works there
Stay away. It’s a shit show like no other. Adam Neumann was a better leader than SoftBank’s people. That’s how bad it is.
Why did wework need so many swe?
To execute on crazy ideas that Adam had, I guess (smart cities, SaaS for office spaces and other real estate, etc). The scope for tech is super tiny now. Still a lot of problems to solve, but can be done with a small eng team. Good talent either left already or leaving. Morale is in the toilet.
The worst company ever! Don't go there
A career dumping ground Ppl still there are because they are good at politicking
Not as a tech company
