Listen, ignore all the psychoanalysis of things. At the end of the day, Nike is Nike, and they make incredible shoes. They aren't going anywhere anytime soon. If you like the company join. If you don't, then don't. Don't subject yourself to market fluctuations and hyperbolic opinions. Just do it! (Pun intended)
I got a recent email from Nike hiring for their Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning team "supporting the second gen build of Nike Adapt (self-lacing shoes)" and possibly other things. The position sounded interesting but they're located in Portland, Oregon so would require relocation
