Is taxation “class warfare”?

When the question of taxing business comes up in the mainstream, Republicans and centrist Democrats decry “class warfare” against the rich. if that’s true, does it also mean that tax breaks for companies or the super-rich is class warfare against regular wage workers? The same US politicians who rail against taxes only mean taxes on business or high incomes and have no problem making poor folks pay more. They are happy to increase sales taxes on basic necessities, raise tolls and bus or subway fees.

Tech workers benefit from FANG tax breaks and deduction and easy money policy. You're asking a biased audience.

Yeah but I’m looking for subjective opinion with the online poll, not a scientific study.

Class warfare is getting those that have to work for a living fighting with each other while the idle rich get richer. There is a reason the tax brackets are so low and penalize labor over non-labor income.

If we all paid the same amount (nominally, not as a percentage), that would be fair. People are taxed the maximum before they push back. Companies will relocate if taxed too much, which is what happened under BO. Rich people will move if taxed too much, which happens between states (NY/NJ to Florida, etc).

They might both be class warfare, but I don’t consider myself a class peacenik
