Is the Hermes Apple Watch worth it?
Those of you who have shelled >$1500 on it, do you think it was worth it. And if yes, then why? I don’t mind paying a few thousand dollars for a nice Swiss watch, but at the same time I know that it won’t become obsolete in a couple of years.

Yes worth it, but it’s subjective. You are mostly paying for the band, which for the price, you are getting top of the top in terms of leather quality. Yes for what it is it’s expensive, but at higher price points it’s always a matter of diminishing returns. You can reuse the band for future watches and it can last a long time. Also, as someone pointed it out, if your wife likes bags, it’s part of your purchase history to help you wife get one of the Hermes trinity bags.

Yeah the band is like 3-500 bucks? Expensive as an Apple Watch band yes, but if you consider it as a band for luxury Watch, eg any of the Rolex, AP, PP etc bands, it’s pretty cheap.
