Is there a difference with what we shipped in 2016?
No of course not. Lyft is better in all ways and preferred by drivers and riders but uber is bigger and the only option in many markets.
I did a survey in FB groups dedicated to Uber/Lyft drivers. The results indicated that way more drivers prefer Uber (3x more) than Lyft.
Interesting did anyone say why? Been running the experiment for a couple years. Every driver I've ever gotten has driven for both and not a single one has ever preferred uber. My sample size is only a few hundred though which is of course tiny. Human drivers are of course not important to either company long term but am super interested in how drivers perceive both.

Didn’t Lyft rewrite their old iOS app from scratch in Swift? Curious to know if this new app is 100% Swift as well. Anyone know?
Lower price and waiting time will be a Uber killer. Nice looking UI won't affect anything.

I wonder if Lyft even do AB testing and user research to arrive at these designs. If they don’t, what took them so long to copy Uber? If they do, what a colossal waste of time and resources only to reach at the same design decisions. I like your pink mustaches, but this is just sad.
