Modi is a legend, will be remembered for centuries to come
So I keep reading on Indian media that India is right after the US and China in terms of GDP growth, overall financial power etc etc. However I do not know of any Indian company which directly connects with the client and has a global presence. For example, the US has Microsoft, Google, Twitter, General motors, General Electric etc. China has Huawei, TikTok, Alibaba. After brainstorming the only thing I could think of was Tata motors owning Jaguar Land Rover. Most of the Indian companies with a global presence otherwise work on B2B, such as TCS, Infosys etc What am I missing? TC 320K
Indians
Bobs
Zoho
Never heard of it
Mahindra is well known in the rural US for tractors. Not quite John Deere but you see them. Best I can think of
dr reddy pharma
Hindustan Unilever duh
Unilever is not Indian.
Lol Amazon, that was like super ignorant! Did you for all these years think that Unilever was Indian?
Many foreign companies are coming to India because of huge customer base . If Indian companies can serve to Indian customer , that will generate decent revenue I think .

Recently? Malaysia got independence after us. Have you seen Malaysia and the benefits citizens there get
Lot of the biggest Indian brands cater to Indian sensibilities which are different than western sensibilities.
Yatra, makemytrip, snapdeal, flipkart, MagicBricks, oyo, myntra policybazar, paisabazar , ola are the some of the companies I know .
Please read the title and description again None of the brands you mentioned are global
Oyo seems to be. I saw an oyo branded hotel in Washington state
What do you mean? Have you seen how many brands have clothing with a “made in India” tag?
Is it in an Indian brand though? That's the question. Is there an Indian origin brand with global presence
