Client engagement have trimmed down, internal project allocation have begun. Once billable hours goes below threshold, then layoff is inevitable.
EY has slow pipeline and not much in projects and hence work force reduction with talent and consulting folks.

After all the layoffs and H-1B pauses there were still 445k applicants in FY 2025. Someone please explain this to me!
