Moved to US from Europe last month. Had over 25 interviews including about 10 tech interviews. For some reason I get rejected every time either because of my status in the US or cause they found someone else or me being overqualified. Never in my career had I such a bad luck in terms of finding a job. Is this the recession or did I get in some blacklist for not accepting someone's offer? Low-to-mid Cost of living YoE 10 TC 75K (previous job)
There's no industry wide blacklist so each company decided there was a candidate they preferred.. since only 10 out of 25 interviews were in tech I guess you're not an swe ?
I meant technical interviews where I was asked tech questions. Other interviews were more behavioral.
Ok.. that's a lot of behavioral interviews! Dell has a lot of headcount right now and we're global and according to Newsweek the best place to work if you're not focused on tc .. just saying..
US is more competitive and selective.
> For some reason I get rejected every time either because of my status in the US or cause they found someone else or me being overqualified. if you failed 25 interviews and you cant reflect on how you need to improve, then you're gonna keep failing them
Maybe you're not as good as you think
thanks, I knew someone would say it.
