Is this a decent enough TC for Amazon? SDE1
Negotiated it up to this number. They were offering about 12k less earlier Base: 123k Year 1 sign on : 25k Year 2: 20k Total RSU : 50 I think I could’ve done more on RSU. But thinking too much negotiations could go against me? Already brought the stock up from 35 to 50. And base from 115 to 123k. Curent Total Comp : 139k. YOE - almost 2 years
Amazon I thought caps at like 108k, or dont allow to negotiate, how did you do that? I thought it was take it or leave for the base
Told them to Atleast beat my current TC to GTFO. They said we’ll give more stock. I said. Nope increase base. Since that’s guranteed.
lol, to be honest i think its riding about or slightly below median new grad offer in TC for Amazon But the good thing is you have a very high base, that you can use to leverage later so you pretty much got what you wanted! edit: oh shit didnt see the 2 YOE
