Is this called midlife crisis? Guidance needed 🙏

Hope all of you are having a wonderful weekend. My age is in mid 30s. Long term Amazonian. I'm an average technical guy but I stood out with hardwork and dedication. I worked very hard to get where I'm now $400k TC. I'm in a very good team and people around respect me. I should be happy but I'm not. I don't have the same enthusiasm towards work I used to have. I'm just managing the work and not giving my 💯. I used to learn and keep my self updated with technology but not interested in this anymore. Wasting time on YouTube and Netflix. Always on phone doing random shit. This is happening for past 3-6 months. Is this called midlife crisis? How can i come out of it? Any guidance is highly appreciated. YoE: 9 TC: 400k

Maybe find a new skill to learn and invest yourself in it passionately?

You’re bored. Pick something else you want to learn and then just go do it.

Go on a vacation and keep away from work. Then come back 2 months later with a fresh mind. Also change companies if it's not challenging/interesting anymore

No, a midlife crisis is me telling my wife I was going to get my motorcycle license yesterday. Then I realized and decided to forget about it. 😂😂😂

What did you realize and what did you forget about?

Me too, except not making that much. What’s up with you? Married?

I’m in the exact same situation. Not married, 5 YOE, the pay is insane and the work is interesting and mildly impactful. But is this it? What’s the point?

Why don't y'all rich mofos just retire and pursue your passions

Damn.

Google 🎱figga Jul 22, 2018

Tough when most people’s passions are useless, at least beyond the level of self enjoyment that you can have alongside your vocation.

Nurture somebody, really good. Learn to cook well. Get fitnes goals and fucking pursue it. Stop watching Netflix. Read more newsletters. Listen to audiobook. That's a gigantic purpose.

I like this list. I’ll start here, thanks.
