I was planning to make a move but due to some or other engagement didnt able to focus on job switch. Recently had a baby as well. Now i am thinking to switch a job and perparing myself but seeing so much news of recession which is scaring me to take the nest step. Should i again wait and watch ?
Do what you can to sharpen your interview skills. It’s pays to be prepared irrespective of market conditions. However I imagine you may have your hands full with the baby, so don’t be too hard on yourselves. I imagine your baby is going to be your P1 for a while.
Start preparing from now on... nothing to lose ..take 2 hrs a days ..once baby startes crawling ans walking they ll be more demanding I have 2 tods at home..
I would focus on the baby especially if you have savings. prep is too demanding. unless I had a ton of support from family to watch the baby I know I couldn’t do it.
Bro, you can very well be jobless instead of working in WITCH and based on what you said, you are literally not learning anything which would help in ur interviews.
Panic and fear is a bottomless pit. Anytime you switch jobs, it’s risky. But does that mean your current job is not at risk? If you think that TCS won’t send you back to India, you’re a fool. You want to grow? Buckle up and start prepping and get out of the low tech company and push for better tier!
If where you're planning to switch to doesn't have a history of layoff, then by all means.
I am sure there is an economic downturn coming but everyone here in Blind is over panicking, Go ahead and switch
