Get up. Sit in different places at home. Talk at laptops. Eat. Watch TV. Eat. Sleep. Go out once in a while to see zombie faces walking around. Outside - doing things that need to be done Inside - there is only emptiness Who else feels this? Any ideas to feel better without taking up an onsite role? Or breaking bones at the gym?
I feel the same, thinking of switching jobs to a hybrid role.

Everyone has their preferences, no need for judgment. Some people feel as you feel for RTO. The workforce is big enough to accommodate both
Yeaa! Feel like there’s nothing exciting in life! And getting really frustrated staying in the house! Also winter is making things much worse!
Flip side though, would it get better if you had to go into the office?
I live right on one of the busiest streets in my city, so just watching the amount of traffic that goes by makes me cherish WFH.
I feel the same. I think wfh mostly suits best for married people with kids.
It's not just couples with kids that love WFH. Me and partner have no kids, but also have no desire to commute to an office ever again.
It's also suited for people that need to be in a certain state to care for aging family members or a variety of other reasons and can't move to a state with an office.
I totally feel like this too. I got laid off and now I am only looking for roles that require folks to come in at least 2-3 times a week.
I got caught in this rut for 2 years and tbh getting a gym membership near my office and going in 5 days a week has been the best decision I’ve made in years. If you have the option, I’d strongly suggest going in to the office for a few weeks and see if things improve.
As for feeling better without taking up an onsite role or exercising, have you considered binge-watching TV shows or scrolling through social media for hours on end? It's a great way to numb your brain and forget about the emptiness inside. Alternatively, you could try overindulging in comfort foods and avoiding anything that might challenge you or push you out of your comfort zone. It's the ultimate recipe for feeling better without any effort at all.
Dude whats ur problem? Are you trying yo bully people
Nah, he is just describing his lifestyle
Yeah I wouldn't WFH if I was stuck alone at home.
Find like any hobby? If you only went out of the house to go to work I can’t imagine things were too fulfilling before either.
Exactly. Or go to a club, a church, or gym to find friendship. Why do people want friendship in the workplace specifically? It boggles my mind. There’s simply so much conflict of interest for people to backstab you. Get paid and get out. Never mix personal and professional lives.
People on this will bully you for no reason. Better to go on redditt tbh
Yeah the married w/ kids wfh crowd will come at you with pitchforks
The unmarried/no kids crowd will come for you too.
