That's what I want to know. My team added 3 non-US hires 2 months after layoff and planning for 3 more. I think I'm getting a boot soon
Sad and at this point companies are putting ppl on PIP and not paying severance either.

We have a strict guidance of only hiring non US employees. We added 20+ people in LATAM and Asia. Zero in USA. Not even the interns
The US tech industry is on a fast track to all go offshore. Just like manufacturing did. Talk to your reps, make this an election issue.
This is what you get with capitalism
Are you shopping only Made in USA merchandise? Companies need to save too; US stuff is expensive
Companies should be charged import taxes on all offshore products. US economy needs to survive too
