Ask me anything you want to know about interviewing, company culture, comp, etc. :)
Why are recruiters usually good looking?
lol. life's greatest mystery.
It’s basically sales. Sex sells.
Do I need to pass a coding interview if I apply for the janitor position
I didn’t even see any open janitorial positions on fb’s website. I believe they use a third party contractor for their janitorial services. These are hourly employees.
Yes, janitors can expect at least LC Medium, maybe 1-2 Hard.
All the compensation bands with breakdown for each level.
Stop wasting their time and just look at levels.fyi
Levels is fine but seeing the actual bands is better.
Can you do even those ones
What's the highest offer you've ever given at Fb? (TC and level please)
They don’t answer the good questions
I think the highest I've extended was an E6 where total comp was about ~795K OR something TC 1st year
OP, if you could talk about the points system on scale of 1 to 5; what’s an average for sending the offer/packet to HC ? 🙏 Thank you..
I'm not sure what you're asking.... Usually a packet needs to read > 60% (at the lowest) positive signal to get to review stages. Feedback is all subjective though so it depends on many factors. For example, if you have a strong internal reference that can speak to negative signal that was captured during the interview then that can help. Or a championing team that can advocate for you and take on the responsibility of building a hiring plan to ensure your success.
What is a packet? What's a championing team? What's a hiring plan?
You prefer red apples or green ones?
Do you have any personal gains (like sales commission) based on how much higher or lower compensation is offered to a candidate?
No
What’s the max possible offer for E5?
It depends on location...
Bay Area
Referral maybe???
