I see a update posted today on my Envoy page that says "Employee Selected in Cap Lottery" When I asked both Envoy communication center and my companies immigration point of contact they both told me that my case is still in progress. Could it be possible I got selected but my company doesn't want to file for me cause it might be expensive for them ? Is there anything I can do if that's the case, like using a consultancy or some other means. This is my last attempt at H1B and my stem OPT ends June 30th 2023, so I'm worried about it. I also applied via a few consultancies but no updates from any of them either, and I saw on USCIS website that they have finished with the FY 2024 lottery. Edit: finally got the official update from my company that my application was selected in the lottery #h1b #workvisa
Congratulations ๐๐๐พ
Thank you, I'm so relieved, a tiny bit worried about the economy but still very happy
Congrats, time to prepare for PERM
Oh congrats. Envoy people are lazy for some reason. Last year, I saw on envoy Port that i was selected around March 29. But lawyers didn't email me till mid April
Did your company at least give guy a confirmation from their end, I've messaged my company contact and Envoy about wether I actually have got selected or not, and they told everyone in group chat that they are currently processing the results and will give final confirmation tomorrow
Congrats OP. Anyone else who filed with envoy global? My app has no updates at all.
Nope, no updates on my side either. Assuming not getting picked
If there's no updates I think that means rejected
When you say few consultancies. Whatโs the number?
3, 4 ish, don't really trust them but since it was my last attempt I thought better to have and not need. I actually got one through one of the consultancies as well, currently thinking about wether I should stay at my current company or risk it with a consultancy, considering the economy I'm worried about layoffs
Maybe it got picked through other consultancies
Congrats, you won
Thank you, I can't stop smiling today
