Edited : it’s 50k shares of option which according to them is 350k in paper money value now at 1b valuation. The reason why I’m considering is the upside potential for options but just concerned abt too less options compared to my current tc

If HR giving you 1b valuations, assume its already cut in half. Reddit, instacart everyone is slashed in half. There is like so many AI startups trying to beat nvidia. Risk is high that most will go under after 1-2 years, unless it gets brought out. IPO is out of the question. Ask groq how does their current product compete with nvidia h100.

There were a few poor performing engineers, so they were PIP'ed - sucks, but has to happen. I think one senior guy left back to Intel, but he was friends with Pat G, and the Intel CEO pulled him in.

Amazing offer. I'd suggest coming onboard. Our HW org recently got some high profile senior leaders (Igor and Jim) and I see a lot of good things coming.

From what I've been seeing it's largely fine. Nothing out of the norm in tech. I'm more on the SW side however.

Lol these groq engineers shit so much. Talking about hiring committee BS. They should concentrate on building good product and retaining talent.
