I joined my current company at a very low pay. And after 1 year later I had an offer which was almost 3 times of my TC. My manager asked me to stay and they made a verbally offer to match. I stayed but they gave me way less than what they had promised. So I started to interview again and now I have 2 offers in hand. And I resigned. This time also my manager made offer and my director also talked to me and made me an offer. Now my manager wants me cancel resignation and continue here. What should I do? I have had good experience apart from this offer issue. Please help me in deciding my next move. I am little scared that if they would have to layoff somebody then I would be kicked out first. Thanks Here: 45L from Here Calix: 41L+15 retention bonus +2 sign on Manager offered: 41L
This was hard to understand. I'm assuming Offer2 was calix (since it's in the poll ) why is Amazon and Google tagged?
If you have already been through that salary negotiation loop twice, then jump. You’re first in line to get fired. By now, your director would have also asked your manager to find your replacement, so it’s just a matter of time. It happened to my manager when he tried to blackmail with outside offers and the Director asked Sr.Manager to find a replacement soon and fire as soon as they find one. Plus, Calix is a pretty good company with good culture and WLB. You won’t regret your decision.
