I'm meeting with what appears to be the HM for my first interview after the HR screen. It's unclear to me if it's the HM or if it's someone on the team, most likely the HM, as they have ~20yoe ... What can I expect? Is this more of a candid, team-fit call, or is it actually a formal interview (product? leadership principles? etc.)? Any advice on studying would help! I have access to Product Alliance, but it feels bloated and unrealistic based on my experience interviewing with other FAANG+ companies. Exponent seems more reliable. I'm also taking a look at System Design here: https://github.com/donnemartin/system-design-primer?tab=readme-ov-file#index-of-system-design-topics Any advice would be appreciated, ty, as I can't find any specific Amazon PM-T study guides... Glassdoor is mainly behavioral. And I was given this: https://amazon.jobs/content/en/how-we-hire/pm-t-interview-prep but it isn't too helpful Base/TC: 180k #productmanager #pmt #amazon
If you're actually serious, you can send a dm and I'll give you some advice, otherwise, this feels dishonest. Particularly because Product Alliance was a huge part of my prep when getting into Amzn, and exponent was the course that disappointed me.
Actually, I take it back! I looked at PA again and it's way better for Amazon compared to Exponent as it specifically covers PM-T in depth. I was basing my information off of my Google experience, where I found Exponent's to help more with than PA and admittedly hadn't really pored over the Amazon content.
Hey - i’ll be uploading an amazon video tomorrow. know your leadership principles and have stories. I made some free PM interview prep videos that i’m happy to share I recently landed FAANG and startup Senior PM offers in Q4 last year. DM me & will share
Obvious exponent shill. Disgusting.
