Just look up whatever the salary is in USA, then change USD into CAD. This is how companies game Canadian talent.
They game by not only giving pay in CAD But also give lower number mathematically so that accounts for double cut. For example: If a company pays in US 100k Then they should pay in canada: US salary X 1.36 ( conversion factor) = 136k CAD However, First they do 100k usd -> 100 cad then * .80 ( 20% cut on the number ) = 80k cad Overall, it accounts for loss of 136k-80k = 56k CAD
Sooooo criminal. I just accepted an offer from a USA firm that correctly translated USD salary range into CAD. They offered actually over the posted range. So thankful for this ๐

Falls under one of the big 4 global advertising conglomerates. The field I am in is quite specialized so that also is a contributing factor.

I interviewed with Slalam last year for DE position. Max base they could give was 145k with 10% bonus.

I would say its in the mid range.. there are companies out there which have a base of 175 to 200K CAD
