Hay JPM people, I am currently an Advisor with a wirehouse. I was approached by Market Executives from JPM regarding a Private Client Advisor. What you guys think? Pros, Cons?
AFAIK the pros are great company name on your resume, JPMorgan is investing in tech so if you are in tech or want to be great place to learn, cons would be that it's pretty bureaucratic and there's a lot of red tape. Can't judge your pay since you didn't give one...But honestly I think it would be a similar opportunity to where you are at now.
Not in finance but how stable is this job? Is the end game to become independent?
JPM doesn't have the brokerage sales force as ML does, is very tied to the bank. Ultimately it's about what team you get into, what specifically you will be doing, & if you like BD or relationship management better.
