Hello Blind Community, I have an upcoming 30 interview with 2 VPs(HR and Engineering). I have given first rounds which were technical and behavioral in nature. Any idea what to expect from the interview ? Thank you. Blind Tax: $140k #jpmorganchase #jpmorgan #swe

HR interview is very straightforward in majority of banks. You should be fine without any prep. They mostly focus on any big red flag and salary.
Keep in mind there is ED title before MD. VP title goes to anyone decent with 5 YOE
Vp engineering will take your technical interview.
A bit vague given it’s a large company. They don’t LC as much in most cases and will try to assess your skills in other ways. But I only know a little corner of it. We have an “above average” team with lots of relatively senior for their title people, and our interviews are pretty low pressure.
Most of the banks focus on skills rather than DSA. They will ask specific questions related to Java language, Spring, SqL etc. Good luck.
The technical they ask some questions like “if you have two gallon tanks how do you get one gallon etc” and the behavioral is what if questions for working with a team
I have a technical interview at chase coming up is there any LC involved?
How is the technical phone screen at JP Morgan ? Is it LC or something different ?
No LC
I have yoe 20 interviewed for executive director architect. I am going in low level? Currently at L6 in AWS
Yes. Go for MD
VP in banking is like senior engineer in IT
Yup, banking sector have different titles compared to tech.
