VP is like senior engineer. It’s wide range. There can be senior engineer, managers, even senior managers at this level.

Less than 300. It's super variable. I'd guess maybe 200-250 in NYC, 160-210 in TX. Assuming you know VP is like high L4-low L6 on tech terms.

Not a good move. VP top of the band 300k May be for NYC . Texas max around 250k. Big portion of that will be bonus which they can cut in half anytime.
