- Plenty of staff - Cheaper because they’re meant for students - Might have special offers - Everything in-house: labs, pharmacy, specialists etc etc and in plenty as well Young staff who are more energetic and respectful because a lot of them are student practitioners. Avoid the big hospitals that are NOT university hospitals. TC: 180-190k
I tend to agree… but if you have a uterus, know that in most teaching hospitals, anytime you’re unconscious you’re fair game for pelvic exam practice. Seriously, this is a thing.
Agreed. Also, they carry out a gazillion tests for every little thing so that the student doctors can learn. Going to get a new glass prescription? Well, they’ll carry out every test imaginable to the eye (dilate it, use many machines to check cornea, numerous exams etc etc) and you’ll spend all day there sometimes lol.
So in that way does it get more expensive than a normal hospital?
Yes, I love this too, and they also give free condoms 🙈😀
Yeah that
