Generally I think of Iran as a 3-world country, run by an incompetent religious establishment, lost many of its bright minds to the West over decades, and has been under international restrictions for many years. What makes Iran so pivotal in all this shit? Any experts on this here?
They already made nukes
The changing world is about to put Iran in the center of world trade. Today the US navy controls the world trade in the oceans. Tomorrow it can be Iran who has bigger say on it. Silk Road is coming. It is the Return of Marco Polo’s World.
Oil exports. The goods imported by the west were manufactured and transported partly by iran oil. When americans swipe their 💳, some of that 💰 ends up in iran. So, its really the western consumer that’s funding iran. Unlike 🇺🇸, They don’t blow their money on expensive housing, tuition, medical, services, …
That’s a good statement, Some, but not all.
tell me how american card swipes ends up in iran please
The reason they are not progressing is because of the fanatic government they have in place currently and the immense amount of sanctions imposed on them. Before that they had a puppet leader (the Sha). But his rule ended after the Ayatollah took over and nationalized their oil industry. So with one swoop of the pen Britain lost its control over Iran’s oil reserves and this didn’t go over well with them. That’s when Britain asked the USA for help to overthrow the current government (because that’s what we do in a rules based world). Anyways, it just got more complicated from then on and those actions still reverberate to this day.
Lol! You don’t need history. Do you? The oil was nationalized in Iran under the Shah, 25 years before the revolution. He was not a puppet neither. He started OPEC to control the oil price for the consuming countries and the west didn’t like it.
Google Iran in 70s pics You will be shocked!
Typical USAsinine view: any country I am ignorant about is dirt poor and irrelevant.
They have a lot of bright minds and a massive army. They are very powerful in the region which is why the US can’t fuck with them directly much as the hicks in congress and John Bolton jerk off to the idea. Also have deployed a lot of good strategies to shore up/buy up support in the region
They have oil, which means money. With money, they have also funded R&D and their military. They also have a nuclear weapon development program. Despite all the western sanctions, oil is a hot commodity so they use it to maintain friendships and get $, while not being entirely stupid and therefore able to maintain some sovereignty away from US or Europe led coups or destabilization You’ll find it more intriguing that it’s right between two countries the us has invaded and steamrolled
