Any suggestions would be appreciated!
I heard Mercer island is a great location in Seattle. But you are literally at the mercy of the bridge so traffic can be a nightmare. Are there other issues like groceries not being anywhere nearby?
The whole island is family friendly. It's a super convenient location since i90 is easily the least congested major highway in the greater Seattle area and public transportation can get you to Seattle or Bellevue easily. If the price is good (and it's almost certainly going to be better than Bellevue or Kirkland proper), definitely stay there.
To be fair, all the APTs on Mercer are family friendly. People decided to live in a APT on Mercer are either trying to leverage the school or they’re planning to. Because otherwise it’s not economical and small, you can definitely get cheaper and bigger apts elsewhere
And there is no other sane reason to live on Mercer Island anyway.
What is ur opinion about Kirkland and Bellevue?
